SUMMARY:

Helpdesk support for onsite and remote sites.

Provide technical support to users over computers, printers, scanners, monitors and blackberry device via on hands, telephone and remote access.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

***Perform troubleshooting over PCs, printers, scanners, monitors, blackberry devices

***Perform hardware and software installations

***Handle PC inventory

***Perform troubleshooting with Lenovo, Sony and HP over PCs

***Perform troubleshooting with HP over printers

***Perform troubleshooting with AT&T over blackberry devices

***Take helpdesk support calls/emails and create troubleshooting record tickets

***Communicate well within helpdesk and escalate issued to adequate teams

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS (JOB QUALIFICATION)

·             3 years experience in helpdesk level 1 in enterprise environment

·             Strong technical troubleshooting skill in Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP Professional

·             Strong technical troubleshooting skill in MS Office 2000 and 2003

·             Business level bilingual skill in English and Japanese in speaking/reading/writing (50%/50%)

·             Positive work ethics and professionalism

 

NOTE

Work hours in 2 shifts (Morning 8:30AM to 4:30PM, Night 12:00PM to 8:00PM) with 1 hour lunch

·        Data input (batching, matching and coding invoices) in the G/L system

·        Account reconciliations  including intercompany, fixed assets and payroll allocations

·        Perform headquarters expense analysis

·        Prepare financial statements including year-end audit

·        Perform system generated journal entry verification

·        Coordinate with branch accountant on issues, acting as a liaison

·        Perform various financial analyses including periodical maintenance and review

·        Assist in the preparation and scheduling of tax returns

·        Upload and verify G/L data and journal entries into Hyperion system

·        Others duties as assigned

 

Qualified candidates will have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 1 - 3 years experience.  Must be familiar with GAAP standards.  Experience in at list one of the following: account reconciliation/analysis, purchase order management/fixed assets, financial report – especially consolidations and financial closing.  Previous experience using Hyperion software a plus.  Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.  Must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

The Helpdesk Engineer is principally responsible for providing direct phone and email technical support for computer end users. Identify, research, and resolve technical problems. Document, track and monitor problems, order and install work stations for new employees. Document, maintain, upgrade or replace hardware and software systems. Support and maintain user account information including rights, security and systems groups and maintain inventory and disposal of equipment and software.

Principal Accountabilities:

Create documentation of the Helpdesk procedures. 
Provide direct day-to-day end user support via phone and e-mail. 
Diagnose cause of problems encountered and define corrective solutions. 
Monitor Microsoft Operations Manager and respond to alerts. 
Install and maintain desktop application software. 
Deploy software upgrades as needed. Support upgrade of software for remote users as needed. 
Ensure that virus protection, security patches, and critical updates are current across the organization. 
Support and maintain organization’s workstations, laptops, and servers. 
Build, configure, and install new equipment, and repair broken equipment. 
Other Responsibilities:

Performs other work related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

Must be proficient on PC platforms including hardware and software. 
Good knowledge of networking concepts. 
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and deliver fast and efficient solutions on a wide variety of technology products. 
Knowledge of Dell, Compaq, and IMB desktops, laptops and servers, and HP LaserJet printers. 
Ability to cultivate and strengthen relationships with internal users, management, and colleagues. 
Ability to read and write and converse in Japanese. 
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
Experience with MS Active Directory, MS Networking; and Windows XP, 2000, or 2003. 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
Ability to work well with senior level managers and sales executives, and able to articulate technical concepts in non-technical terms. 
Analytical problem solving skills; adept at identifying system, end user, and equipment problems, diagnosing their cause and extend, and generate and implement needed solutions. 
Good organizational and time management skills: able to effectively prioritize and manage numerous concurrent projects/problems. 
Self-motivated, disciplined and able to identify needs and implement solutions without direct supervision.

General Description and Job Functions

The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding the client and project objectives and for the ownership and development of project deliverables to meet those objectives across the project lifecycle from initiation through process analysis and design, requirements, specifications, testing, deployment and related activities. This particular role requires fluency in Japanese and previous experience working in global business environment with both Japanese and U.S. project teams.

 

Project Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

· Elicit, document, model, validate and prioritize business, user, functional and non-functional requirements using interviews, facilitated sessions and information or data analysis

· Develop functional specifications to support the requirements

· Develop basic user-interface diagrams and complex function and data flows

· Analyze, model and diagram business processes and data flows – both ‘as is’ and ‘to be’

· Develop system test plans, test conditions and test scripts; execute test scripts and report on test results; assist with defect tracking

· Plan, prepare for and execute client interviews and facilitated sessions including capturing and organizing notes and other meeting outputs

· Communicate the business goals, processes, requirements and other project specifics to the client and project team members

· Develop and deliver training materials including training needs analysis, training workbooks and presentations
 ·Develop gap analysis including current state, desired state, gap and proposed resolution

 

Professional Attributes:

· 3-5 years experience as a business analyst; preferably with at least 2 years in a consulting environment

· Excellent verbal and written communication

· Good inter-personal skills

· Strong analytical skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities

· Ability to facilitate client meetings, prioritize own workload, and  develop and deliver professional presentations

· Fluent Japanese

 

Other Skills/Experience:

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

· Demonstrated experience in all phases of a Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC)

· Experienced in the development of Use Cases and Activity Diagrams

· Preferred Life Sciences experience or understanding of Drug Development LifeCycle
· Preferred understanding of compliance requirements such as Sarbanes Oxley, GxP and 21 CFR Part 11
